Cricket World Cup 2011: A Brief Review

This year mega sport event mean ICC Cricket World Cup 2011 will be started from 19th Feb.In this mega event there will be at least fourteen teams will compete with each other and all these team divided into two groups of seven each.

This time Cricket Cup 2011 will be hosted by three countries India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.In the race of hosting there were four countries but Pakistan is out due to unfavorable in country so ICC decided only three hosts. Opening ceremony held in Bangladesh and Final match and Prize ceremony will be in India. Sri Lanka host semifinals of ICC cup 2011.

The ICC Cricket Cup will be the tenth World Cup of ICC. Bangladesh first time co-host a mega sports event with any country. The World Cup will take place between February and early April 2011, with the opening match will be played on 19th by India and Bangladesh facing off at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium.

In this ICC cup Pakistan to be supposed fourteen matches but now these all matches are divided by ICC in co-hosts countries.Eight matches to India four to Sri Lanka and last two matches awarded to Bangladesh.And ICC headquarter transfer from Lahore to Mumbai so handle all matter easily.Pakistan only get some amount as fee from ICC after world cup.

All cricket stadium in India are fully ready for matches and some new stadium are also built. All stadium condition make more better to hosts proper all matches.On the other hand Sri Lanka and Bangladesh also ready for this great event and both nations want to make history with this cup.

Now come to some matches details, their will be total 49 matches played in this world cup. Every team play six match and then proceed further quarter final round. There will be four quarter final and two semifinal after this a mega final of cricket will be played and one team become world champion for next four years.

The official song "De ghuma ka" also announced and its official videos launched on opening ceremony on 17 February 2011. All cricket fans are really excited for this mega cricket event specially Asian people are big founds of cricket.

So in final words this time Asian countries make history cricket.All the three nations just wait to prove their capabilities,courage,sports spirit to show the whole world their occurrence on Earth.
