South Africa 2010 World Cup - group stage
With less than 100 days the biggest tournament in football to say that the opening World Cup 2010 in South Africa tense waiting game is a disservice to the growing enthusiasm of football fans worldwide! South Africa the first country in the southern hemisphere, Argentina is hosting the tournament since 1978. 32 national teams have qualified for the tournament, and the balance was for the 8 groups of 4 teams on Friday, December 4, 2009 the beautiful Cape Town Convention Centre. The draw certainly threw some large organizations, as we shall see now! 2 teams of each group qualify to reach the last 16 knock-out of eight couples.
