2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Schedule Released

The 2011 NASCAR sprint cup schedule has been released, and race fans across the nation and around the world will be thrilled to see some exciting new changes.

Perhaps the most exciting bit of news is that there will be a new track added to the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Schedule.

Kentucky speedway is a one and a half mile tri oval with fourteen degree banked turns. It has a seat capacity of sixty six thousand. With its first event slated for the ninth of July, rest assured, the track will be hot loose and fast!

Tickets went on sale November first of this year, so there's plenty of time, but the good tickets are sure to go fast, so it probably will be best to act as soon as possible for the best seats.

Unfortunately when new tracks come, some must go as well and this time around Atlanta Motor Speedway is the odd man out. An abundance of tracks in the south, and dismal ticket sales led to it's demise, but there is still one event on slate for next year. Hopefully that will improve the situation for fans in Atlanta and the surrounding area.

Atlanta however, is not the only race track to suffer lagging ticket sales. Fact is, tickets sales the last several years have declined on the entire NASCAR circuit. One can only hope, that 2011 shows great improvement in ticket revenues.

This can turn out to be quite an advantage for the rabid race fan base. Tickets once thought impossible to obtain, are now actually semi abundant. For instance Bristol Motor Speedway, the track by many considered the Mecca for short track fans actually had tickets for sale on race day last year.

Although it is necessary to act early for the best seats, it is nearly a certainty that tickets for every venue can be found for the 2011 season.

So, without further delay, here is the 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup Schedule.
