2010 World Cup Soccer Tournament

The long-awaited sporting event awaited and most of the year, the 2010 World Cup Soccer Tournament Africa finally began June 11, 2010 at the Soccer City stadium in Johannesburg, South

The FIFA World Cup is held once every four years and is a long process of qualifying race for the participating countries and their respective teams. Italy won the last World Cup, held inGermany.

FIFA (Federation Internationale de Football Association) is responsible for organizing and controlling the most important international football tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup in 1930, followed. FIFA Confederations also found an additional 6 to help oversee different parts of the world.

A total of 32 teams qualified from the tournament are 2010 World Cup final from different continentsand regions such as in the previous section (FIFA) above. The qualification process began in August 2007 with 204 participating teams from all over the world.

The qualifiers for the 2010 World Cup was 2009 Durban, South Africa in November. Qualified teams are organized into 8 groups as follows:

- Group A: South Africa, Mexico, Uruguay, France
- Group B: South Korea, Argentina, Nigeria,Greece
- Group C: USA, England, Slovenia, Algeria
- Group D: Germany, Australia, Serbia, Ghana
- Group C: Denmark, Japan, Netherlands, Cameroon
- Group F: Italy, Paraguay, New Zealand, Slovakia
- Group C: Brazil, North Korea, Ivory Coast, Portugal
- Group H: Spain, Switzerland, Honduras, Chile

The teams from each group play each other. Two teams will reach the group with the highest score for the group of 16 Gowill go to compete for the quarterfinals and semifinals.

The football matches are held in various cities in South Africa and 10 were chosen places. The following is a list of all the stadiums and cities:

Zakumi, the official mascot of the FIFA World Cup 2010, a humanized leopard with green hair. Its name comes from "Z", the international abbreviation for South Africa and "Kumi", a "ten" means in various African languages.

Jabulani is the name of footballMatch Ball for the FIFA World Cup 2010, made by Adidas, which means "a joy for all" in isiZulu. The 11 different colors with the ball are the 11 official languages of South Africa, 11 different South African communities that exist all over the country, and the 11 players on the field.
