ICC World Cup 2011 code is finally here

The official soundtrack for the ICC World Cup 2011 tournament has been released ...

I have argued that all of Bollywood and cricket have a very close relationship, and this song just proves that, for the ICC World Cup 2011 code, the music was composed by Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy makers (SEL), a Bollywood Trio.

For the benefit of the uninitiated, SEL include Shankar Mahadevan, Ehsaan Noorani and Loy Mendonsa, who were among the mainmusic producers of Bollywood films in the last ten years.

Your best and most successful work has been heard (and seen) in movies like Mission Kashmir, Dil Chahta Hai, I Na Kal Ho, Bunty Aur Babli, Kabhi Alvida Na Kehna, Taare Zamin Par, Wake Up Sid, my name and Khan, Karthik Karthik and call Full House, among many others.

The song is called "De Ghuma Ke", a reminder for the players, that's all I have to give, in other words, "Sock it to them," an obvious reference asthe competitiveness of the sport and the desire to win.

Three versions of the song was provided in Hindi, Bengali and Sinhala, the language of co-hosts of the tournament, India, Sri Lanka and Bangladesh.

The song was released on December 31 different radio networks, as well as ESPN Star Sports, the ICC Global Production and broadcasting rights to maintain.

I hope you like the composition, for 50 days to go for the tournament, you'll be hearing this songagain and again, and this is the understatement of 2011, the first day of the year!
