Soccer - Qualification Round for the 2010 Soccer World Cup!

The design for the World Cup qualifying group was the end of November 2007 in the South African city of Durban. The ceremonial event was inaugurated by President Thabo Mbeki and FIFA President Sepp Blatter. The 53 participating countries from Europe were assigned into eight groups of six teams and one of five teams. The winner of each group will qualify automatically for the next World Cup. The eight best runners-up play in fourDuels with a first leg and a second leg play off for the last four European starting places.
