World Cup (Soccer)

Football game in the world, the countries most often known as "soccer" over. The world tournament runs every four years and is officially known as the FIFA World Cup. The Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA) is the world football governing body.

The FIFA World Cup 2010 on Friday in their South Africa took place June 11 to Sunday, July 11, 2010. The opening match will be held in Johannesburgwith South Africa playing Mexico.

Will finally be 32 countries, 6 Confederations Cup in this year 2010. The countries in World Cup Group 8 are divided into:

Group A - South Africa, Mexico, Uruguay and France;

Group B - Argentina, Nigeria, Republic of Korea and Greece;

Group C - England, United States, Algeria and Slovenia;

Group D - Germany, Australia, Serbia and Ghana;

Group E - Netherlands, Denmark,Japan and Cameroon;

Group F - Italy, Paraguay, New Zealand and Slovakia;

Group G - Brazil, North Korea, Ivory Coast and Portugal;

Group H - Spain, Switzerland, Chile and Honduras.

The teams from each group play each other, the two top teams from each group process, the last 16 knockout stages to determine the finalists with. The matches will be played 10 venues in nine cities of Johannesburg, Durban, Cape Town, Pretoria, Port Elizabeth, Bloemfontein,Polokwane, Nelspruit and Rustenburg. This is the first time the tournament takes place in Africa after South Africa beat Morocco and Egypt in a bid to host the World Cup 2010 World Cup.

The official mascot of the 2010 Cup is Zakumi, a leopard with green hair and green and yellow, the colors of the national flag of South Africa. The ball made by Adidas and used in this tournament is called "Jabulani" which means "joy for all inZulu.
