After a successful year in 2007 ICC World Twenty20 World Cup tournament in South Africa, the fans were waiting for the 2009 ICC Cricket World Twenty 20 World Cup in England. But the structure of the tournament held in 2009 was underwhelming. England, as guests were apparently with the legendary Ashes series starting next month (July) busy. TournamentFormat
The teams of each group playing in a round-robin format. The top two in each group advanced to the second round (Super Eights) based on their seed. If a team beat a team seeded postulated, then the team would postulate unseeded team to take rank. For example, if C1 C3 put out, then was C3 C1.
Every game in the tournament needed a result. If a game ended in a draw, then this game would get an additional Super Over Eliminator. A lot left / no-result requires a split in points (1 point), while a win was worth 2 points.
The Super Eight consisted of two groups of four teams from each group E and F. The CPI ranks teams qualifying groups advance. The first two of the Super Eights reached the semifinals. Group B

The 2009 ICC World Twenty 20 cricket tournament was well supported by expatriates livingin the UK and some English fans. Although there was the fiasco of the 2007 tournament, provided no field excitation event enough to compensate for the average English indifference of a world substantially.
