My Dream, My World Cup, My Favourite Sweets

Aside from the Olympics, I am a big fan of the World Cup; and of all the events I am particularly interested in FIFA World Cup. Being a football player myself since I was young I grew up watching all the FIFA events on TV while enjoying some retro sweets. Nothing beats the excitement watching my favourite sport being played by nothing but the best players in the world. What even made my watching more exciting is that I get to share those moments with my loved ones just chilling on the living room.

I have also dreamed of playing in the tournament one day. It's one of the driving force why I am doing the best I can to improve in football. I have set standards for myself and I see nobody as a competition but myself. Sometimes my team mates would tease me for dreaming such. I don't care; this is the dream that keeps me going every time I have a match. It also keeps me inspired and makes me want to watch every tournament game on TV with some sweets.

Another thing that I love doing whenever the tournament events are taking place is collecting different memorabilia like t-shirts, plushies, key chains, and world cup sweets. I search different sports shops and malls for these memorabilia and sometimes I even wear the shirt while watching the events as they unfold on the television. I am not ashamed of admitting it because I am indeed a big FIFA World Cup fan.

I also joined different online discussion boards, forums, groups associated to the FIFA World Cup. It is such a joy to know different people from around the world that share a common interest. Honestly, I am jealous because most of them have already watched the games live and I only get to see them on TV while indulging in some world cup sweets.

Luckily next month I will be able to watch the next cup finals live! I have been saving for this since last year and my dream of finally watching our national team compete live in the field will be a reality. My family is happy for me too! They said at least little by little I am achieving my dreams. And though I won't be with them to watch the championship on TV with some world cup sweets I sure will be bringing back with me stories and memories to share.

Watching the tournament without my family with me is a little bit sad; but I can't help getting all giddy and excited. And definitely watching it live wouldn't be the same without some world cup sweets.

FIFA World Cup 2010 - Spain Favourite handle the pressure?

After their victory at Euro 2008, Spain becomes suddenly under-performers to the playlist.

Like the Champs League, Barcelona, Spain fans worldwide a legion, and given the quality of talent they boast that this is the World Cup should MVPs

The analogy with the 2002 tournament in France is difficult to resist. Like Spain, France and then entered the next World Cup campaign off to the success of Euro 2000. Where in Francesuccumbed to the pressure of expectation, a lesson that Spain should learn by heart.

A relatively weak H from Chile, Switzerland and Spain in Honduras can rest on our laurels. It can kill himself, since Spain too well in the past in the hands of South Korea, Nigeria and Northern Ireland, learned in 2002, 1998 and 1982 and most recently in the Confederations Cup last year against the United States.

A case of works of great expectations, the fans and the localAverage idolize a team if they win. On the other hand, they are difficult, if not met. No player will be independent from his god-like status, the immune system, as when he discovered goalkeeper Iker below par against Saudi Arabia. Other stars, Fabregas and Torres in the middle of the club's transfer dispute, pressure exists.

The pressure is intensified in a World Cup, where the international media, will celebrate the surprise stronger. Can Spain their experiencesthe bridge? This is harder to win the World Cup.
