Recent news from the Premier League – Liverpool and Chelsea

The attacking half of Liverpool Joe Cole is under question for the forthcoming challenge against his formal club Chelsea, this weekend. The reason is the injury the player received during the match against Bolton, where he had to leave the game forcefully. The information from the club is that the contusion is not so serious despite that fact the player could miss the challenge with the Londoners. If Joe does not recover on time for the clash, this would be a great loss for the manager of the "red" Roy Hodgson, because he wants to use his best players in the derby. The team of Liverpool got two victories in a roll in the Premier League and the match with Chelsea could be the turning point for the team. One eventual win for the team could bring the needed team spirit for the players to fight for place in the top four.

Barcelona defense crack at Chelsea

Most fans of FC Barcelona, Chelsea critical defensive parked on the bus before their destination and keep cynical defense for ninety minutes. Good for all fans of Barcelona Football Club here is an invitation - please park the bus at Stamford Bridge and Chelsea will score.

Each registration site is now the shoe on the other foot, and I think Barcelona is the second phase. You can not break the five-man defense than ninedefense of the men at the Camp Nou, and to gather to admit, from outside the box where not even mount a decent shot up in 2009 to Peter Cech in goal in the first leg of the full minutes ninethy Champions League semifinal.

The defensive weaknesses of Barcelona's it for viewing on the Stamford Bridge when the full backs to attack the Barcelona half will be undermined by their broad attack on the Chelsea player and defender for the absence of Marquez and limitedPuyol is shaky against the force and speed of Drogba.

Parking the bus is not easy, that in football, for a full ninety minutes in a gradient, the players seem twice as big as the Stamford Bridge and also promoted worldwide as the best time in three. For Chelsea the most difficult part of running a clean sheet in the Camp Nou was reached, and is now seeking to defend the score two goals in the first 25 minutes at Stamford Bridge and offensively with theUpper body strength.

Two players to watch in the next game is necessary and Ballack Ivanovic, Ballack for the yellow card and Ivanovic stapling the speed of Henry on the left wing, as I will not be surprised if Boswinga neutralizing Messi in their game to play inside and under the ball on his left foot.

It 'a good start for Man Utd when Ronaldo opened the scoring with a header on 26 minutes to meet, jumping Michael Essien cross from Wes Brown. Petr Cech Kingdom denied a second goal in 34th minute with a nice double shots from Rooney and Carrick shop. Chelsea Michael Essien in the 45th minute took a deflection Vidic and Ferdinand in the path speculative shot from Frank Lampard who neatly slotted the ball to the network. Chelsea were back in the game.

Over the next 45 minutes both teams had chances to win the game. Didier Drogbahit the post from a right footed shot from 25 meters at one end, while John Terry cut the line from a Ryan Giggs shot.

In injury time the game has seen few real possibility and the game turned ugly. Didier Drogba was sent off for slapping Vidic and Chelsea's players felt Tevez had the ball back was not unsportsmanlike, after a pause in a game due to injury.

The extra time and finished the game went to penalty point. Tevez and Carrick scored for Utd as Ballack and Belletti for Chelsea.Ronaldo in a hash of his effort that Cech saved. Lampard scored for Chelsea. Hargreaves to Manchester United. She hit the back of Ashley Cole to Chelsea newt on the edge of victory increase. Nani scored to give Manchester United hope. Steps to Chelsea and John Terry missing! Chelsea Loses to Inter Milan at San Siro

Chelsea last night lost by 1-2 to Inter Milan at the San Siro in the UEFA champions league group of 16. Though Chelsea had better ball possession and higher number of shots on target, Inter won the match because they were able to convert their chances.

The first goal of the match came barely three minutes into the first half when Milito connected a pass by Samuel Eto'o to put the host ahead. Thereafter it was attack and counter attack till the end of the first half. Chelsea lost two great opportunities in the first half; first was Didier Drogba's terrific free kick that hit the upright bar and the second was the penalty which the centre referee overlooked when Salomon Kalou was brought down in the Inter's 18 yard box in the 45th minute. First half ended 1-0 in favour of the home team.

The second half saw a more purposeful football on both sides as they kept threatening each other's defense from time to time. Chelsea's persistent attacks paid off in the 51st minute when Salomon Kalou powered home a pass from Ivanovic to even scores at 1-1. However, determined not to lose at home the host fought gallantly and got their winning goal in the 55th minute when Cambiasso blast in a grounder after a goal mouth scramble, leaving goal keeper Petr Cech puzzled. Chelsea mounted more pressure but all their efforts were thwarted by Inter's water-tight defense line.

Goal Petr Cech got injured in the 59th minute after jumping to catch a non-threatening up ball that was actually not goal bound. He got replaced with Henrique Hilario who kept a clean slate for the rest of the match.

Chelsea once again had another opportunity to equalize but the opportunity was wasted by Frank Lampard who in the 65th minute gave Nicolas Anelka's cross to Inter's goal keeper as though it were a back pass. The blues gave a very good account of themselves anyway; they were able to get an away goal that could decide Inter's fate in their return leg match in three weeks time.

Samuel Eto'o got replaced in the 67th minute while Salomon Kalou the scorer of Chelsea's lone goal was replaced with Sturridge in the 78th minute. Sturridege's inclusion did not do much to change the tempo of the game. The host eventually ran away with a 2-1 victory: Coach Jose Mourinho was obviously happy with the result having boasted before the match that he was going to beat Chelsea.
