FIFA World Cup 2010 - Team profile: Italy

Germany 6 Rank the FIFA world ', but it is not right, their heritage and recording the year 1990, including three world championships in 17 appearances, most recently coming in. But the history of Germany in recent years , opportunities have been a case of absence, both the World Championships in 2006 and 2002, or Euro 2008.

In qualifying, but the European giants to potential carried out twice, they put all over Russia, other than dismissal of Wales, Liechtenstein andAzerbaijan.

The man is seeing Miroslav Klose, a smart attacker, with a record production. Pudolski midfielder-cum-striker, is another great view. Tragically, Germany have injury lost their star midfielder and captain Michael Ballack for the day before the World Cup. She has another talented midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger, the pressure of expectation is greater in the absence of Ballack. They also have a great defender Philipp Lahm but in realityGerman fans lament the absence of Torsten Frings, the line-up.

However, Germany should have little trouble heading their group D, the other teams of Serbia, Ghana and Australia. In fact, Germany is holding a record of how not to lose a single game of the group in 1986.

Your first real challenge was the final quarter-finals, in the form of Argentina. If they survive, Argentina, Germany is likely to run in Italy in the semifinals. In BallackAbsence seems an insurmountable problem from Germany to fight. But you do not copy, like true champions, will be the increase in special occasions.

2010 World Cup Soccer - World Cup, who will win?

The 2010 World Cup South Africa promises to Brazil one of the best in football history with the great teams like Spain and favorites to win the coveted trophy.

Let's look at some of the opponents and the pitfalls they face when they finally want to achieve this goal.

Spain have a wonderful team and should cruise through their group, but a very difficult game as her second in Brazil, Ivory Coast and neighbors face to face Portugal. IfSpin progress around the two, I expect them to finish.

Brazil is always a favorite, but they must get off to a good start, as they are in the group of death with some good teams.

England have some players like Gerrard, Lampard and Ferdinand in the competition probably his last major tournament, so I expect that group they cruise past your face, but Brazil could the Germans in the second semi-final round and as big around to see themWinning the World Cup. The fitness of Wayne Rooney is definitely the key.

France in qualifying and terrible players like Henry have past their best then I do not expect to go far, especially with their eccentric manager that is not appreciated by the French!

Italy and the Netherlands have decent teams, but it is unlikely that it will hold the stage behind the semi-finals.

Argentina is the world's best players in Lionel Messi, Maradona, but you get the bestby him in his defensive formation? A dubious qualifications, not to win the World Cup?

And outsider is a jewel in Portugal have Ronaldo, but rarely a man teams wins the Cup?

Cricket World Cup 1975 - the first World Cup Cricket

The Cricket World Cup 1975 was the first Cricket World Cup and they do see is very strange. Before 1975, only 18 had ever played One Day Internationals. The idea of ODI cricket was in its infancy in cricket whites, a red ball and more than 60 format of cricket test in similar detail. Held in English cricket, World Cup has gone from June 7 to June 21 more than two weeks.

The spirit in which theGame was played was much more docile than they expect modern era of One Day Internationals. Many of them decided to handle the new format as a test match shortened.

In a bizarre incident, Indian legend Sunil Gavaskar story definitely the best ride mad chase of all time against England in the first round. Chasing a challenging score of 335 Gavaskar decided by the bat inning for an amount of an inert material, brick wall, Boycottesque 36 not out from 174 ballsDisplaying a contemptuous attitude in the process. His lack of desire to try again would be the purpose of the defendant in these days to follow. I hate to think what would have Herschelle Gibbs and Graeme Smith to make it the most sought after by the largest 435 in ODI international than ever it was.

The teams at the World Cup Cricket 1975:

1. Australia

2. East Africa (cricketers from Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and Zambia)

3. England

4. India

5. New Zealand

6.Pakistan

7. Sri Lanka (in state test match)

8. West India

Although the first Cricket World Cup 1975 tournament difficulties claws from the traditional form of cricket test was a great success it has, the rapid development of cricket in the last 30 time in English, and took a couple of weeks of exciting cricket culminated in the final last between West Indies andAustralia, New Zealand beat England in their semi-final.

future champions: West India

And what a final it was! On June 21, 1975, 26,000 packed faces Lords finished the first Cricket World Cup Ripsnorter a final. Clive Lloyd, West Indies skipper and reasonable man-of-the-match, performed a scintillating display of hard hitting (102 from 85 balls, 12 on all fours, 2 six), which chills theSpine of the happy day of Yuvraj and Afridi. His hand efforts are only a massive body, and laid the foundations for a World Cup victory of the West Indies.

After winning the opening of the Aussies a target of 292 Viv Richards continued to show the importance of fielding a new game in the days of only three of its top. While the higher order last improbable dramatic turn occurred almost collapsed with a brave last gate by the Stategreat fast bowlers Dennis Lillee and Jeff Thompson. The partnership of 41 threatened a resounding victory in fresh mentality Steely wicket-keeper Deryck Murray and precision cast under pressure to sack tear wicket Thomson formalize the result as the Lord was immediately engulfed by thousands of enthusiastic fans forearm.

West Indies triumphed in Australia for short runs of 17 total. A truly thrilling finale to the sound of one-day cricketremains a standard by which all the Cricket World Cup to be compared. The Cricket World Cup 1975 is still the greatest ever final in the eyes of many people.

Sports Psychology - Total Football, mental strength and the World Cup 2010

The Football World Cup 1974 will be known as more memory than the Netherlands found in its phenomenal year in the world game in the style "total football". The Dutch team of '74 looked unbeatable as they have lost in the Federal Republic of Germany in the final, much less a team. From the point of view of psychology of sport soccer, 1974 World Cup final showing full well that at the highest level, superior physical skills alone are notall: the implementation of superior performance requires mental skills.

Total Football

The Holland's total football was probably the greatest football team in 1970. E 'style of the Dutch team captain and star player Johan Cruyff incarnate. According to the International Football Hall of Fame "If the Dutch football team as a whole, that the world was, Johan Cruyff was then the total player." In short, describes a total calciumPlay in which each player can play any position. The Dutch team, all players have equal levels of technical skills and physical abilities, although it is fair to say that the ability is phenomenal Cruyff was a big challenge. He was a player who seemed to effortlessly from door anytime, anywhere on the field. Just as undeniable technical skill and physical strength make them with, because you should not have Holland in the World Cup1974?

Total control?

I told you once read a comment where the writer, "while supporting the Dutch, who played the Germans." There's your answer. Physically, the Netherlands almost innate sense of time, and their combination of skills possessed as a team meant that they generally kept possession of the ball to! But their superior ball skills can also develop self-esteem and the team shows a certain arrogance on the pitch. What is notnecessarily a bad thing, but it's a big but! They knew they were good and appeared to believe that they knew better. When the situation occurred, led to "discussions" with officials, the Dutch players not comfortable with the decisions go against them. It takes mental abilities in situations of high pressure, stay focused, especially when things are not the way, and it seems that the mental capacity was the only thing missing, the Dutch team. It 'my opinion that Holland lost1974 World Cup because the team could not stay focused on what really matters and ignoring the rest.

At halftime, the West German team to score against the Netherlands. Was that the psychological impact that technically untouchable Dutch team stopped their tracks? If you know that we consider what happens when you have a goal for a team that is perceived as inferior? With the acquisition of mental skills you learn coping strategies for eachSituation, you learn to stay focused and decisive is to stay positive. You can not change what has already happened, but you can determine what happens next. In the second half of the 1974 World Cup, which would have the physical abilities can happen when the Netherlands had to balance their mental abilities?
