Top 5 of 2010 cricket controversy
There was no shortage of controversy cricket in 2010, I wrote about the best of them. And here, in my opinion are the top five:
1. Spot for fixing: Trio admit taking money
Three Pakistani Cricketers, Salman Butt, Mohammed Asif Mohammed Aamir and admitted to extort money from alleged bookmaker Mazhar Majeed. They have denied claims of fixing on site, but have admitted to taking money for advertising and sponsorship contracts.
2. Waterboy Yuvraj: AnilKumble's new job
The BCCI has hired the former captain and leg spin bowler for the Indian team as we have learned to behave, especially Yuvraj Singh after showing the "middle finger" to some viewers at P Sara Stadium in Colombo in the third Test match in progress between the 'India and Sri Lanka.
3. Tri Nation Controversy: Randiv's No Ball Sehwag leaves Stuck on 99
Sehwag on 99 of which he was helpless on the Tri-Nations match against Sri Lanka, Monday, except to roll a ball Randivhim, thereby sealing the win for India, Sehwag and prevented a century earlier.
4. Yuvraj Water Boy: The View From The Other Side
The side of Sri Lanka's history of water boy Yuvraj Singh seems to run very differently from the Indian media. A Sri Lankan cricket blog called Iceland carries the story under the headline: "Yuvraj" Waterboy "Singh lost his cool" to go to find fault with Yuvraj because "it gave the public the middle finger."
